Do you love animals?  Do you really love animals?  I do. 

Do you show your love for animals?  Do you care for some at your home?  Are you a plant based eater?  Do you buy products that are not tested on animals?  Do you adopt, not shop?  I do. 

It’s important to live life with intention.  To live according to your values.  To respect life, all life.  The way a country treats it’s seniors, children, animals, and vulnerable is telling of how sophisticated that country is. 

Each year, in the U.S., 1.5 million shelter animals are euthanized.  Why is this happening?  Because we do not have good legislation preventing breeders from over  breeding and we do not penalize people for not spaying and neutering their pets.

Every week, there are news articles telling of animal abuse and abandonment.  Why?  Why are we not locking these people up for the rest of their lives for doing this?  They are people that go on to commit other heinous crimes.  There should be severe consequences for hurting living beings.  Have you ever seen how broken some of these animals are from the abuse they receive?  It should make people take action to make changes so that we never see one case of this happen ever again.

If you see someone that is abusive towards animals or humans, you should report them to the proper authorities.  If you see an animal or human that needs help, you should help them or help them find someone that can help them.  Simple kindnesses make this a better world.

And legislatures, where are you?!!!  There should be the strictest laws preventing cruelty to animals.  There is no excuse for not getting this done.  We call ourselves a first world country.  Let’s act like it in every way.  Up our standards.  We should lead the way in never permitting cruelty to animals.  We should never euthanize one animal.  We should have people waiting to adopt pets. 

I love the 4th of July celebration in the United States!  But, so many animals do not like the loud noise that firework displays produce.  I have an idea!  How about we do drone shows!  They are beautiful, dramatic, super creative, spectacular to watch, can be coordinated with theme music, lasers, and they are also cheaper than fireworks.  Most importantly for the animals, they are quiet, so don’t scare them.  If you like this idea, please spread the word!
